The Japanese Vintage series were the original Squier Strats released in the early eighties. Being Japanese made, they are renowned for their superior build quality.
This Strat is a brilliant player. It has had quite a life, as so many of the best playing instruments do, and has plenty of nicks and dings. It has at some point had a locking nut and tremolo installed, so has a hole at the lower head stock and indentations below the bridge where they used to be. This therefore is not one for the collector. It is though in great working order throughout and is an excellent playing and sounding guitar, one for a player who wants a fantastic quality, Japanese made Stratocaster which is not going to break the bank.
