Austin of Trogly's Guitar Show fame says that if you buy only one guitar to keep for the rest of your life, it should be an early 90's Gibson Les Paul Studio with ebony fingerboard in Wine Red with gold hardware. And here we have exactly that. And it is a good one! This particular guitar has loads of mojo. It looks ace, plays brilliantly and sounds incredible. What more could you want from a guitar?
It is well played with plenty of dings, light scratches and playwear. The gold has tarnished with age. It is though completely original, with no breaks or repairs, and the frets are in good shape.
