We love this boutique instrument from Eastman. The build quality is amazing as are the specs: one piece body, Bare Knuckle pickups, ebony fretboard, antique varnish finish, and it’s light too, at just 7.7lbs.
Eastman guitars still operate in the manner of a 19th century violin workshop, with a team of master luthiers creating the instruments by hand, with the exception of a few band-saws used for neck outlines.
It features an original offset hourglass body shape with ergonomic contours for superior comfort, crafted from lightweight okoume (a sustainable African mahogany alternative) for resonant, fatigue-free play. Equipped with hand-wound Bare Knuckle Old Guard humbuckers, it delivers vintage-inspired warmth and punch ideal for rock, blues, and indie tones, with modern versatility via precise controls.
Another standout features is the Antique Varnish finish, which is applied by hand and gives the guitar a real vintage feel.
The guitar is in excellent condition throughout. It has been really well looked after, and as such shows little to distinguish it from new. The frets are in great shape.
