The Roasted Maple not only looks stunning, but also makes the neck incredibly strong, so it is remarkably resistant to warping or bowing over time.Vintage Frets - Smaller fret-wire gives your fingers reassuring contact with the fingerboard and allows you to play with plenty of feel and control. It also retains the "woodiness" of your tone better than larger frets.
Basswood Body - Basswood is extremely lightweight, making for exceptionally comfortable and resonant guitars. It has a warm but balanced tone, with a soft top end that perfectly compliments the humbuckers in this guitar.
Bolt-on Construction - The bolt-on has been Fenders construction technique of choice ever since their first guitars in 1951. It is a large part of what gives Fenders their classic "snappy" attack, and the brilliance and chime of a Jazzmaster in particular.
