Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute P90, Ebony, 2011
Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute P90, Ebony, 2011
This one is a fantastic player! A proper Les Paul in every respect.
When the Les Paul was introduced in 1952, the humbucking pickup didn’t even exist. Instead, the earliest Les Pauls from 1952 to 1956 sported P-90 pickups.
The pickups in this are great. They are lush when played clean, and visceral sounding with a bit of dirt.
The body is crafted from chambered mahogany, joined to a solid carved maple top. It has a rosewood fretboard. The neck is solid mahogany, and cut using a “quarter sawn” orientation which improves strength and resonance. The full 50s neck replicates the vintage specs of the classic era.
It is in very good condition throughout. There are some light scratches to the body and couple of minor nibbles around the edge of the body, which aren't overly noticeable.
Comes in a Gibson USA padded gig bag.
