Far Out Guitars are incredibly proud to be able to bring to market this stunning 1991 Gibson Les Paul Custom. This guitar is an absolute dream. 100% factory original with no modifications or replacement parts and a weight of 9.4lbs.
This is a fantastic example of an early-’90s Custom—beautiful craftsmanship, rock-solid build quality, and that unmistakable LP tone.
Neck is straight, frets have plenty of life, and the guitar plays smoothly up and down the board. Classic Les Paul Custom sound: thick, punchy lows, strong mids, and singing sustain.
The guitar is in very good condition. It shows normal playwear for its age but has been well cared for throughout its life. The white finish has yellowed beautifully. There is plenty of finish checking and light surface marks and small cosmetic signs of use, but nothing that affects playability or structure. The gold hardware has a fair bit of tarnishing. There is a ding to the edge of the body, as can be seen in the photo 17. No headstock breaks, cracks, or repairs—a rare find for a 30+ year-old Gibson.
It is completely all-original—hardware, electronics, finish, and pickups. No swaps, no mods.
If you’re looking for a clean, unmolested early-’90s Les Paul Custom with zero structural issues, this is it.
Comes in its original Gibson hard case, which is structurally sound but a bit tatty. The combination lock is broken, as is one of the latches.
