The Gretsch G5655T-CB Electromatic is an awesome compact, retro tone machine with grunt and twang in equal measure. This particular one is a super player.
The Korean-made Gretsch guitars are known to be a step above their Chinese counterparts, and this one is a great example of that; the build quality is fantastic.
The Center-Block Jet is constructed more like a hollowbody. It has a laminated maple top, back and sides, with the addition of the solid spruce centre block. The result is more empty space inside the guitar - and therefore more fullness and resonance as you'd expect from a semi, but with the sustain and feedback-controlling attributes of the centre block.
It features a Gretsch Super HiLo'Tron in the neck with a Black Top Filter'Tron at the bridge.
It is in excellent condition throughout with no visible nicks or dings. There is very little fret wear at all. There are some light scratches to the pick guard.
Comes in a really nice quality Stagg padded gig bag.
