We have been blown away by just how amazing these Vistatone pickups sound! This one is in excellent condition throughout and comes in a quality gig bag.
Based on Supro's vintage res-o-glass guitar designs, the Supro Americana Series Martinique Deluxe semi-hollowbody electric guitar combines vintage single-coil tone with the rich acoustic tone of a piezo pickup. A three-way switch allows you to select the authentic Vistatone single-coil pickup, the piezo pickup at the rosewood bridge, or a combination of both. Individual volume and tone controls provide a huge tonal range to explore — dial in everything from swampy blues to punchy rock to jangling acoustic tones. Complete with a vibrato tailpiece, the Supro Martinique Deluxe delivers a wide range of sonic options rarely seen since the '60s.
This beautiful instrument is in excellent condition throughout and shows very little in the way of play wear. It is 100% factory original and has no breaks, cracks or repairs. The frets are in great shape.

Vistatone pickups for growling, explosive tone
Originally designed for Valco by Ralph Keller in the 1950s, Supro's Visatone single-coil pickups can be found in vintage Supro, National and Airline guitars. They pack plenty of midrange punch, with detail and clarity that remains when you roll your volume back (thanks to the '50s-style wiring scheme). And Supro paid special attention to the Martinique Deluxe's tone circuit, tuning it for maximum usable range whether clean or overdriven.
Piezo pickup for acoustic and hybrid tones
The Martinique Deluxe's three-way selector switch gives you access to a piezo bridge pickup. On top of providing snappy acoustic tones, you can also blend the piezo with the Vistatone pickup for a hybrid sound. You'll have the classic electric tone, accentuated with the attack and clarity of the piezo pickup.
'50s wiring for a clear, detailed volume sweep
A common mod for modern guitarists, '50s-style wiring essentially retains treble as your roll your guitar's volume knob back. You can drop your volume and clean up your amplifier without losing sonic clarity and note definition. This makes the Supro Martinique Deluxe the perfect match for a tube amplifier set right at its breakup point, allowing you range from clean to overdriven without compromising your core tone.
Modern construction techniques and materials
What sets these Supro Americana Series Martinique Deluxe guitars apart from their ancestors are the modern-day construction techniques that are deployed in their creation. For example, the maple neck is attached to the body with a redesigned two-bolt neck joint that maximizes contact and vibrational transfer, with minimal hardware. Vintage enthusiasts at Sweetwater have dreamed of the day that Supro guitars would return, and we can confirm the Americana Series Martinique Deluxe was well worth the wait.
Far Out Guitars provide a 14 day no-quibble return policy, so if you don't get on with your new guitar you can return it for a full refund.
